Celebrating Los Alamitos Youth Center's “Girls in STEM” & "Kids in STEM" Programs

On Wednesday, November 6, Beckman Foundation's Curator + Communications Officer Kaerie Ray attended a special graduation event for participants of the "Girls in STEM" and "Kids in STEM" programs at Los Alamitos Youth Center. Eighteen kids gave poster presentations, engaged in a candy chromatography science activity, and received Beckman certificates and prizes. Then came a special announcement: Beckman Foundation is The Youth Center's 2025 Organization Award Recipient! We're honored to receive this recognition and look forward to celebrating at next year's Crystal Hearts Ball.
